With the victory, Buchtel upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Griffins host Our Lady of the Elms (Akron, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Our Lady of the Elms lost 55-47 in their recent league bout against St. Martin de Porres (Cleveland, OH)

Next up, the Vikings play the Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. North will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Comets come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 40-14 non-league win over Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH).
