    The Buchtel Griffins basketball team scored 67 points and held the host North Vikings to 23 in the Griffins league triumph on Thursday.

    The Griffins now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mogadore for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Buchtel will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 59-50 league loss to John F. Kennedy Catholic (Warren, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

    The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against East (Akron, OH). The Dragons enter the Akron City contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, East was routed by Garfield (Akron, OH), 37-30, in a non-league contest.
