The Caesar Rodney Riders basketball team (Camden, DE), was overwhelmed 59-23 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE)
The Eagles now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dover for a Henlopen - Northern battle on Tuesday, January 16. Smyrna will confront a Senators team coming off a 51-49 league win over Sussex Tech (Georgetown, DE). The Senators record now stands at 8-1.
The Riders (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers come into the Henlopen - Northern battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Polytech trounced Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE), 57-17, in a league battle.
