New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Thomas Aquinas thwarts Colonia

The St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ), 72-59 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Trojans (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Neumann-Goretti notched a victory over St. Hubert Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA), 79-41, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league test on Monday, January 15. Colonia will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-6.
