The St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) basketball felled the host Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ), 71-52 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trojans (21-7) will now prepare for their test against Princeton Day (Princeton, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Princeton Day went down by Peddie (Hightstown, NJ), 42-19, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 19-8 record. They play next when they host Belleville for a non-league test on Thursday, February 22. Colonia will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 51-23 non-league win over Abundant Life Academy (Nutley, NJ). The Buccaneers record now stands at 17-5.
