Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Desert Hills Thunder (St. George, UT) and the visiting Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT), saw Desert Hills's basketball squad wallop Crimson Cliffs by a count of 54-32.
With the victory, Desert Hills upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Thunder host Dixie (St. George, UT) to play the Flyers in a 4A Region 9 challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Flyers come into the challenge with a record of 8-6.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a 4A Region 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Crimson Cliffs will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 56-48 non-league win over Moapa Valley (Overton, NV).
