The Verona Hillbillies basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting East Side Red Raiders to 29 in the Hillbillies non-league victory on Thursday.

The Hillbillies now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Livingston for a Super Essex - Colonial contest on Tuesday, January 16. Verona will battle a Lancers team coming off a 60-8 non-league win over Barringer (Newark, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 4-9.

The Red Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Blue Knights come into the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Irvington triumphed over Arts (Newark, NJ), 48-38, in a non-league contest.
