Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA) and the visiting McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), saw General McLane's basketball squad hold off McDowell by a tally of 44-38.

With the victory, General McLane improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Central Tech (Erie, PA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 challenge, on Thursday, January 18. McDowell will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record.
