McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting General McLane Lancers (Edinboro, PA), 50-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, McDowell upgrades its record to 4-14 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to State College (State College, PA) to play the Little Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Little Lions come into the bout with a record of 15-6. State College lost 50-33 in their recent league bout against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA)

Next up, the Lancers play the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) in a District 10 Region 6 bout, on Thursday, February 15. General McLane will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record.
