Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Wyoming Area trounced by Greater Nanticoke Area

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans basketball team scored a decisive 70-39 triumph over the Wyoming Area Warriors.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 match, on Wednesday, January 17. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Royals enter the match with a 10-4 record after their 46-24 non-league win over Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA).

With the defeat, Wyoming Area moves to 3-11 on the year. The Warriors host Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA) to meet the Hawkeyes in a non-league match on Monday, January 15.
