The Hurley Rebels basketball team (Hurley, VA), dropped 55-39 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA)
The Golden Wave now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Council for a Black Diamond battle on Friday, January 12. Grundy will battle a Cobras team coming off a 48-45 league win over Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Cobras record now stands at 5-2.
The Rebels (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA). The Panthers come into the Black Diamond battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Twin Valley dropped by Grundy (Grundy, VA), 61-42, in a league battle.
