In Thursday's league match, the host Kingsley Stags basketball team scored a good 69-58 triumph over the Onekama Portagers.
The Stags (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Northmen go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record.
The Portagers now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Mackinac Island for a non-league test on Monday, January 15.
