North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Halifax ripped by Northampton County

January 11, 2024: Halifax, NC 27839

The Northampton County Jaguars basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Southeast Halifax Trojans to 13 in the Jaguars league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Edgecombe for a 1A Tar Roanoke contest on Monday, January 15. Northampton County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 62-61 league win over Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 7-3.

The Trojans (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Wayne Preparatory Academy was routed by Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC), 40-22, in a non-league contest.
