North Carolina High School Basketball - Northampton County routs Southeast Halifax

February 9, 2024: Gaston, NC 27832

In Friday's league outing, the Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC), by a count of 69-13.

The Jaguars (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors go into the 1A Tar Roanoke outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, North Edgecombe smashed Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 53-42, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 3-17 record. They play next when they host Nash Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 13. Southeast Halifax will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 50-14 league win over Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-7.
