Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH), 76-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Portsmouth upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Mason (Mason, OH) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 14. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Mason won 65-14 in their recent league bout against Hamilton (Hamilton, OH)

Next up, the Redmen play the Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Rock Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 55-39 league win over Meigs (Pomeroy, OH).
