The Serra Catholic Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Winchester Thurston to 44 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aquinas Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Serra Catholic will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 43-11 league win over Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-2.

The (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Centurions come into the WPIAL 2A 3 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Greensburg Central Catholic triumphed over Springdale (Springdale, PA), 64-16, in a league contest.
