Virginia High School Basketball - Fairfax overwhelmed by Woodson

The Woodson Cavaliers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Fairfax Lions to 29 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Woodson will battle a Stallions team coming off a 51-48 non-league loss to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 4-2.
The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Braddock was routed by West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 59-42, in a league contest.
