In Thursday's non-league match, the host Franklin County Eagles basketball team scored a good 49-36 triumph over the Halifax County Comets.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 12. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Colonels enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 52-41 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).
