In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Northeastern Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 51-23 triumph over the South Central Falcons.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 16. Northeastern will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Redskins enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 36-31 non-league loss to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC).
With the defeat, South Central moves to 4-4 on the year. The Falcons host Riverside-Martin (Williamston, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Monday, January 15. The Knights enter the match with a record of 1-0.
