The Northeastern Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting South Central Falcons to 56 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden County for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Northeastern will battle a Bruins team coming off a 61-31 non-league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 0-11.

The Falcons (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Havelock (Havelock, NC). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Havelock was nudged by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC), 41-35, in a non-league contest.
