Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons face the Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 12. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Dons enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 13-1 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA).

The Trojans now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Berkeley for a challenge on Wednesday, January 17.
