The Jonesport-Beals Royals basketball squad (Jonesport, ME), was nudged 55-48 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME)
With the victory, Bangor Christian advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Patriots travel to Stearns (Millinocket, ME) to meet the Minutemen in a D North battle on Friday, January 17. The Minutemen enter the battle with a record of 3-8. Stearns lost 79-56 in their recent league battle against Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME)
The Royals now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Searsport for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16.
