Maine High School Basketball - Bangor Christian knocks off Jonesport-Beals

In Saturday's league contest, the host Bangor Christian Patriots basketball team scored a good 48-33 win over the Jonesport-Beals Royals.
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME). The Mariners come into the D North contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Deer Isle-Stonington was topped by Sumner (East Sullivan, ME), 89-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Royals battle the Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Jonesport-Beals will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 63-60 league loss to George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME).
