The Union Bobcats basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Pine Eagle Spartans to 15 in the Bobcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Bobcats now have a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Elgin for a 1A Old Oregon game on Thursday, January 16. Union will confront a Huskies team coming off a 49-20 non-league win over Four Rivers (Ontario, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Pine Eagle falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Powder Valley (North Powder, OR) to confront the Badgers in a 1A Old Oregon game on Thursday, January 16. The Badgers go into the game with a record of 7-8. Powder Valley won 47-35 in their recent non-league game against Prairie City/Burnt River (Prairie City, OR)
