The Pine Eagle Spartans basketball squad (Halfway, OR), was crushed 62-27 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Union Bobcats (Union, OR)
With the victory, Union advances its record to 20-1 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR) to meet the Badgers in a 1A Old Oregon battle on Thursday, February 6. The Badgers enter the battle with a record of 12-9.
The Spartans now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallowa for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Friday, February 7.
