    The Sanger Apaches basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Madera Coyotes to 38 in the Apaches league triumph on Wednesday.

    The Apaches now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bullard for a County/Metro contest on Friday, January 14. Sanger will meet a Knights team coming off a 98-74 league loss to San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno, CA). The Knights record now stands at 9-9.

    The Coyotes (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Madera South (Madera, CA). The Stallions enter the County/Metro contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Madera South was routed by Edison (Fresno, CA), 66-56, in a league contest.
