Michigan High School Basketball - Alcona trounces Rogers City

The Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI), 50-29 in Thursday's league test.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Owls go into the North Star test with a 1-3 record.

The Hurons now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mio-Au Sable for a North Star test on Monday, January 16. Rogers City will encounter a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 49-25 league win over Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 7-0.
