Minnesota High School Basketball - Alexandria overwhelms Fergus Falls

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN) and the host Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN), saw Alexandria's basketball squad wallop Fergus Falls by a count of 64-22.

With the victory, Alexandria upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN) to play the Sabres in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Sabres come into the challenge with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Otters play the Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) in a AA Section 8 challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Fergus Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 57-56 league loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN).
