The Howell Rebels basketball team (Farmingdale, NJ), was nudged 51-44 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Christian Brothers Academy Colts (Lincroft, NJ)

The Colts now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Bank Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Christian Brothers Academy will battle a Caseys team coming off a 46-44 league loss to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Caseys record now stands at 6-5.

The Rebels (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Middletown South edged Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ), 57-52, in a non-league battle.
