Virginia High School Basketball - Georgetown Day ripped by Flint Hill

The Flint Hill Huskies basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers to 61 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Flint Hill will battle a Lions team coming off a 77-63 league win over Avalon (Wheaton, MD). The Lions record now stands at 11-3.

The Mighty Hoppers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Maret (Washington, DC). The Frogs enter the Mid-Atlantic contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Maret was routed by Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC), 62-52, in a non-league contest.
