The Lake Zurich Bears basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Waukegan Bulldogs to 41 in the Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palatine for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Lake Zurich will battle a Pirates team coming off a 57-52 league win over Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 13-5.

The Bulldogs (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Scouts come into the North Suburban contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Lake Forest prevailed over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL), 55-34, in a non-league contest.
