The Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), 72-44 in Friday's league test.

The Bears (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Blue Devils go into the North Suburban test with a 16-14 record. In their last test, Warren Township walloped Zion-Benton (Zion, IL), 64-35, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-15 record. They play next when they travel to Libertyville for a North Suburban test on Tuesday, February 14. Waukegan will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 62-54 non-league win over York (Elmhurst, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-5.
