Ohio High School Basketball - Mapleton knocked off by South Central

The South Central Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Mapleton Mounties to 45 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plymouth for a Firelands contest on Saturday, January 14. South Central will battle a Big Red team coming off a 56-40 league loss to Western Reserve (Collins, OH). The Big Red record now stands at 2-9.
The Mounties (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monroeville (Monroeville, OH). The Eagles enter the Firelands contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Monroeville ran past New London (New London, OH), 76-53, in a league contest.
