The Ponderosa Bruins ran past the host Oakmont Vikings basketball team by a final score of 74-63 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Weston Ranch Cougars (Stockton, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 14. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 6-9 record after their 109-49 league win over McNair (Stockton, CA).
