The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers basketball team (Point Pleasant, NJ), was nudged 30-28 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ)
The Purple Roses now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keyport for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. St. Rose will battle a Raiders team coming off a 56-47 league win over Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 7-1.
The Panthers (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record.
