The Boonton Bombers basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers to 23 in the Bombers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bombers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brearley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Boonton will battle a Bears team coming off a 41-22 non-league win over Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 2-6.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Kittatinny Regional was defeated by Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ), 45-42, in a non-league contest.
