In Saturday's non-league outing, the Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers (Convent Station, NJ), by a margin of 54-40.
The Bombers (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ). The Vikings go into the Freelance outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Villa Walsh Academy defeated Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ), 42-39, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Mountain Lakes for a non-league outing on Monday, January 23. Academy of St. Elizabeth will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 51-41 league loss to Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Lakers record now stands at 6-6.
