In Thursday's league outing, the Valley Buffalos (Orderville, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT), by a count of 61-26.
The Buffalos (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT). The Mustangs go into the 1A Region 20 outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Bryce Valley smashed Water Canyon (Hildale, UT), 45-17, in a league outing.
The Moquis now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Panguitch for a 1A Region 20 outing on Wednesday, January 18. Escalante will clash with a Bobcats squad coming off a 52-28 non-league loss to Duchesne (Duchesne, UT). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-7.
