In Friday's league outing, the Valley Buffalos (Orderville, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT), by a margin of 74-34.

The Buffalos (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Panguitch (Panguitch, UT). The Bobcats go into the 1A Region 20 outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Panguitch smashed Milford (Milford, UT), 52-37, in a league outing.

The Moquis now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Whitehorse for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. Escalante will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 38-25 non-league loss to Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT). The Raiders record now stands at 5-11.
