The Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) basketball crushed the host Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL), 55-16 in Thursday's league test.
The Saxons (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Whip-Purs go into the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Hampshire walloped Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL), 46-32, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Conant for a Mid-Suburban - West test on Tuesday, January 17.
