The Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) basketball nipped the host Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), 35-30 in Thursday's league test.

The Buckhorns (5-0) will now prepare for their test against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Trojans go into the Lackawanna 2 test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, North Pocono got by Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA), 60-53, in a league test.
