Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), 44-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wallenpaupack Area upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Buckhorns travel to Valley View (Archbald, PA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Valley View won 61-24 in their recent non-league bout against Mid Valley (Throop, PA)

The Hornets (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats come into the Lackawanna 2 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Western Wayne trounced Forest City (Forest City, PA), 46-13, in a non-league battle.
