The Wethersfield Flying Geese basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Stark County Rebels to 30 in the Flying Geese non-league victory on Thursday.

The Flying Geese now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Wethersfield will battle a Princes team coming off a 38-24 non-league win over Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Princes record now stands at 14-8.

The Rebels (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL). The Spartans come into the Lincoln Trail contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] dropped by ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
