The Ignacio Bobcats (Ignacio, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO), 37-32 in Friday's league test.

The Bobcats (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Pirates go into the 4A/3A Intermountain test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Pagosa Springs got by Centauri (La Jara, CO), 39-37, in a league test.

The Mean Moose now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Montezuma-Cortez for a 4A/3A Intermountain test on Saturday, January 13. Alamosa will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 74-65 league win over Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 4-5.
