The Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Ignacio Bobcats (Ignacio, CO), 50-25 in Saturday's league test.

The Mean Moose (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Panthers go into the 4A/3A Intermountain test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Montezuma-Cortez walloped Bayfield (Bayfield, CO), 69-55, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pagosa Springs for a 4A/3A Intermountain test on Friday, February 2. Ignacio will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 33-29 league win over Centauri (La Jara, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 15-1.
