Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Chico Dragons (Chico, TX), 76-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Alvord upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Tioga (Tioga, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Muenster Hornets (Muenster, TX) in a 2A Region II District 13 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Chico will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 52-44 league win over Era (Era, TX).
