Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS), 67-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Biloxi upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS) to play the Red Rebels in a 7A Region 4 bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Red Rebels come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Harrison Central won 73-69 in their recent league bout against Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS)

Next up, the Admirals play the St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Gulfport will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 48-40 league loss to D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS).
