Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cabot Panthers (Cabot, AR), 61-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Conway (Conway, AR) to clash with the Wampus Cats in a 6A Central bout on Friday, January 19. The Wampus Cats go into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a 6A Central bout, on Friday, January 19. Cabot will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record.
