In Friday's league outing, the Collinwood Trojans (Collinwood, TN) basketball squad felled the visiting Hughes Lions (Clifton, TN), by a margin of 53-38.
The Trojans (1-9) will now prepare for their outing against Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN). The Wildcats go into the 1A District 11 outing with a 14-7 record. In their last outing, Wayne County was beaten by Marion County (Guin, AL), 67-60, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 18.
