Tennessee High School Basketball - Collinwood knocked off by Hughes

The Hughes Lions basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Collinwood Trojans to 36 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hampshire for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Hughes will battle a Hawks team coming off a 65-17 league loss to Richland (Lynnville, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 0-11.
The Trojans (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne County (Waynesboro, TN). The Wildcats enter the 1A District 11 contest with a 16-8 record. In their last contest, Wayne County ran past Perry County (Linden, TN), 47-44, in a league contest.
